Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians IPL 2024 Highlights: Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to form with a superb unbeaten century to back up Sandeep Sharma’s 5-for as Rajasthan Royals thumped Mumbai Indians by 9 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday.

Jaiswal went past 50 for the first time this season and made it 104* off 60 balls, hitting the winning runs as well as RR stayed top of the table 7 wins in 8 matches.

Earlier, Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera stitched together a fine recovery partnership in the middle order for MI after they were jolted early by RR. Sandeep Sharma finished with a five-wicket haul, including three wickets in the final over, on his return to the side as Rajasthan Royals restricted Mumbai Indians to 179/9.

In the first innings, Yuzvendra Chahal became the first bowler in IPL history to reach 200 wickets.

Despite winning the toss and Hardik Pandya opting to bat first, Trent Boult and Sandeep removed Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan respectively within the first two overs. Then came the big wicket of Suryakumar Yadav as Sandeep got his 2nd of the night. After a brief counterattack, Chahal came in to removed Mohammad Nabi for his landmark wicket. Sandeep then finished things with three wickets in the last over.

This is the second time these two teams faced off in IPL 2024 with RR also having emerged victorious in the reverse leg at the Wankhede Stadium by six wickets.
