weight loss
is about more than dieting—it’s about building lasting habits. Her journey to lose 18 kg and reshape her waist is an inspiring story of strength, self-love, and dedication. Maddy, an Instagram user who bills herself as a personal coach, offers a select few habits that helped her reach her objective. The YouTuber, who has more than 200K subscribers, also talks about her experience after giving birth. With food, exercise, and all the other weight loss techniques, Maddy almost lost eighteen kg. She discusses a “formula” that helped her lose weight and shrink her waist in one of her blogs.
4 weight loss rules that she lives by
Combined Strength Training & Cardio (4-6 times/week): In order to increase muscle mass and metabolism, I combined strength training with cardio. This combination promotes general fitness and effective calorie burning.
Hydration: Drinking two to three liters of water each day keeps you hydrated: reduces hunger, increases vitality, eliminates toxins, and aids in digestion
80/20 rule
: Dining 80% complete, nutrient-dense foods guarantees vital vitamins and minerals, while allowing 20% for treats and social dining. This is known as balanced eating. Sanity and contentment are preserved by this equilibrium.
Progress tracked with photos every 10 days: Taking pictures on a regular basis helps track visual progress because the scale can be deceptive because of things like water retention, muscle gain, hormonal shifts, and plateaus.
Diet she consumed to stay fit
Although Maddy does not believe in calorie counting, she does monitor how much protein she consumes. It’s crucial to keep in mind that what suits her may not suit you. Each of us has a unique body, height, age, and so forth. According to the 80/20 rule, she spends 80% of her time eating nutritious foods like salads, lean meats, and whole grains, and the remaining 20% of her time in moderation enjoying anything I want, like pizza or dessert.
In order to stay hydrated, aid in digestion, and maintain my energy levels, Maddy also makes sure to consume two to three liters of water each day. Since it enables her to indulge without totally ruining my diet, I would rather have a cheat meal than a cheat day.
Maddy can enjoy her favorite foods, like sushi, and satisfy her desires with only one meal, all while adhering to her overall eating objectives. It enables her to eat in moderation and balance without feeling deprived.
Workout she does to stay in shape and gain muscles
She adheres to the 321 approach, which consists of one full-body workout, two upper-body workouts, and three lower-body workouts. Whether it’s on the elliptical, the stairs, or an uphill walk on the treadmill, she always completes her strength training with 30 minutes of cardio.
A brief exercise regimen consists of
Hip thrusts (3 sets of 8)
Squats (3 sets of 10)
Romanian deadlifts (3 sets of 8-12)
Bulgarian split squats (3 sets of 10-15)
“Observing changes in body composition and shape inspires me to maintain my goals. Perseverance has been essential to my success. Even though I felt like I wasn’t improving on some days, I managed to go to the gym,” she captioned a post.
“At the beginning, I struggled with a lack of confidence, fear of not accomplishing my goals, and self-doubt. I dealt with digestion issues, bad habits, and even acne. But now, I feel more confident than ever, energized, and excited about my journey!” she writes in one of her Instagram posts.
Maddy found that these workouts and weight loss advice were effective. But one must constantly keep in mind that various people have different strategies of losing weight. A schedule that works for one person might not be the greatest for another. Thus, choose methods that work for your body and start a long-term weight-loss adventure.
