Shrimad Ramayan is one of the Indian daily soaps on the Hindu mythological epic, Ramayana. It began this year on 1st January with Sujay Reu and Prachi Bansal playing the role of Lord Rama and Sita Devi. The popular mythological show has been getting lots of love for the brilliant canvas and visual representation of the epic. However, recently, rumours surfaced stating that Shrimad Ramayan is going to go off-air in June. Sujay Reu aka Lord Rama has reacted to the same.

Shrimad Ramayan actor Sujay Reu reacts to the show going off-air rumours
Sujay Reu admits that he has heard about the show going off-air rumours. He has read and heard about them but has cautioned the audience. He says people have been asking him about the show going off-air but he has no clue about such reports. He has not received any such update or information. Sujay believes that June would be too soon for Shrimad Ramayan to go off air as there are a lot of sequences that are pending. He talked about Samarkand and Yudhkand and shared that there’s a lot to explore in the story next. He advises viewers to not pay attention to such rumours for now and just enjoy watching the show. Shrimad Ramayan actor Sujay Reu aka Rama opens up on the show’s ending
While talking to TOI, Sujay shares that he has been a part of about 7 to 8 shows. Hence, the beginning and ending of a TV show is now a routine for him, like a journey. He recalls feeling hurt when his first show went off-air. But he has accepted it as part and parcel of life and has stopped taking things personally. “Jis din bhi off-air hoga main thoda emotional toh zarur ho jaunga because ye show mere liye baaki saare shows se alag hai,” he says. Sujay says he has a different attachment with the show which will stay life long. The actor shares that on the last day, he will definitely be very emotional.
