Samantha Ruth Prabhu responds after a doctor says ‘she should be thrown in prison’ after Nebulisation post; ‘It would have been kind…’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been quite active on social media. The actress who was diagnosed with Myositis has been sharing about the treatment, her journey to recovery and much more. In a recent post, Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrote about nebulising. In the post, she wrote about trying nebulising hydrogen peroxide and distilled water to treat viral infections instead of popping in pills. This received a strong reaction from TheLiverDoc calling her ‘health and science illiterate.’ In a strong reaction he also wrote that the actress should be ‘thrown in prison’. In a rather lengthy note, Samantha started off by stating that she has had to take several types of medicines and taken everything that she was advised to take from the professionals. She also penned about these treatments being expensive that led her to read about the alternate therapies and treatments. She further added, “I am not naive enough to go about strongly advocating a treatment. I merely suggested with good intention because of all that I have faced and learnt in the last couple of years. Especially that treatments can be financially draining and many may not be able to afford them. End of the day, we all depend on educated doctors to guide us.” Talking about the attack on her by the Doctor with his strong words, she wrote that it would have been ‘kind and compassionate’ of him had he not used provocative words. She wrote that she was merely suggesting and not making money out of it. About future and medicines, she said that she would be more careful as her intentions are only to help others.
