Pandya Store has been successfully running for more than 3 years now. The first season of Pandya Store featured an ensemble cast including Kanwar Dhillon, Alice Kaushik, Shiny Doshi, Simran Bhandup, and others. The show went through a major leap after which Rohit Chandel and Priyanshi Yadav entered as Dhawal and Natasha. The show has been performing well in terms of TRP. Rohit Chandel, Priyanshi Yadav starrer heads for another generation leap?
According to a report in Filmbeat, the Rohit Chandel and Priyanshi Yadav starrer Pandya Store may soon undergo a generation leap. If you’re thinking that after the generation leap, a new cast will enter and Rohit and Priyanshi will bid adieu to the show, you are certainly wrong. The generation leap is not a lengthy one. If the show indeed undergoes a generation leap, it will be for 7 years. The makers want to add a different twist and drama to the show, and what better way than the idea of a generation leap. Rajan Shahi’s show Anupamaa, too, whose TRP saw a significant dip once again, was back to number 1 after the 5-year leap. Generation leaps often work wonders for the show as after the leap, makers have many new stories and characters to explore.

Speaking about the Star Plus shows, it is reportedly stated that the channel has decided to axe a few shows after the IPL 2024 is over. While Imlie will definitely be going off-air, rumours are rife that a few other shows whose current TRPs are not so great are also under the radar of the channel. Fortunately, Pandya Store is doing great in its 7:30 pm slot, and hence there is no threat to the show.
