Munjya Box Office Collection Day
As per a report in Sacnilk (the site which monitors the box office figures of theatrically released films), Abhay Verma, Sharvari Wagh, Mona Singh starrer has earned close to 4 crore on the opening day. While the exact figures are not out, it is stated that the film has earned 3.75 crore on the opening day itself. The fact that the film has no other movie to compete with at the box office gives it much more room to earn in the coming days. As the weekend and monsoon both have begun, people would certainly like to treat themselves to something which is lighthearted and at the same time can tickle their funny bones. Horror comedy has always been a favorite genre among Indian cinema lovers, and they definitely won’t miss a chance to watch Munjya in theaters as after a long time Bollywood has given them a horror comedy film to enjoy.
Bollywoodlife gave Munjya a three-star rating. From the gorgeous Konkan to CGI effects, director Aditya Sarpotdar has just got it right. On the other hand, the downside of the film is that it’s no Stree, and people who will be entering the theater expecting the same level of comedy and horror that ‘Stree’ delivered would certainly be a tad bit disappointed.
