Cullum achieved his goal of 1 million pushups after nearly a decade of beginning his pushup mission in 2015. He started sharing his journey on Instagram as the pushup guy after achieving nearly 100,000 pushups. “I was trying to break the world record for the most push-ups done in one hour,” he said, adding that he trained for a couple of months, but when he started getting injuries he thought he wouldn’t be able to do it. “So that’s when I fully transitioned my focus to doing a million push-ups.”
