KILL has released at a time when Kalki 2898 AD fever is still high. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2898 AD is creating waves at the box office. So we asked Nikhil Bhat what are his expectations when it comes to box office. The filmmaker said, “I feel India is a huge country. We are a huge country and we have a lot of tastes. I’m sure a film like Kalki 2898 AD can also get a lot of love and my film Kill can also get a lot of love and both the films can do well in its own place. The fact that Kalki is a different genre, Kill is a different genre and they are very different from each other, so I feel there will be an audience for Kill as well as there will be an audience for Kalki. We have seen films like Lagaan and Gadar doing well at the same time so I feel there is enough love for both the films.” Also Read – Kill trailer: Lakshya, Raghav Juyal starrer will give you spine chills; fans say ‘This is going to be next level’

When asked what message or emotions he hopes for viewers take away from Lakshya Lalwani and Raghav Juyal starrer, Nikhil Bhat asserted, “I want the audience to be entertained, very simple. It is not that I’m trying to glorify violence. The film shows that violence brings agony and grief wherever it goes, whether it is this side or that side. The compass of morality keeps changing because of violence. And I very strongly believe that the consequences of violence are much dangerous than the reasons for violence. And I’m trying to show that in the film. So at one point of time, it is that as well, but at the other point, it’s a pure entertaining film. I want the audience to get thoroughly entertained and find their own heroes and root for them.”
