Kangana Ranaut reveals she rejected Akshay Kumar’s film for ‘integrity of women’; says ‘Please understand you also have a daughter’

Kangana Ranaut has always been in the news. She is currently busy promoting her movie, Emergency. She will be seen as the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. The film is about India’s former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her rise to power after the death of her father and India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on September 6. Kangana Ranaut reveals she rejected Akshay Kumar’s films

Kangana Ranaut has been giving interviews as she promotes Emergency and she spoke to NBT entertainment about rejecting a film offered by Akshay Kumar. She said that when Akshay called her for Singh Is Bliing she had rejected it. She said when Akshay Kumar asked her why, she said, “Please understand you also have a daughter. Akshay Kumar offered her Singh Is Bliing and later offered her more movies but Kangana did not do any of the movies. She said she did so for the integrity of women. She further explained that films starring these big actors often have limited scenes for women. But Kangana is not interested in these things. This is a big thing in Entertainment News. She said that she has rejected Khan led films. They were all good to her and respected her and never misbehaved with her but she said no to their films because their films are prototypes wherein the heroine will have two scenes and one song. She also said that there have been people who misbehaved with her but the Khans are not the ones who did that.

Kangana said that she wants to be an example of a woman who is an A-lister, the top-most actor who has not worked with Khans.
