IPL Points Table 2024, Team Rankings: Powered by Marcus Stoinis’ century, Lucknow Super Giants did the double on Chennai Super Kings with a 6-wicket victory in Chepauk. The result saw Chennai go down to 5th while Lucknow came into the top 4.
Rajasthan Royals steamrolled Mumbai Indians by nine wickets to secure their place at the top of the table further in Jaipur on Monday. Powered by Sandeep Sharma’s five-wicket haul and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s century, RR thumped MI in a 180-run chase for their seventh in eight matches. Meanwhile, MI suffered their fifth defeat in eight matches to remain on the seventh spot.
RCB are at the bottom of the 10-team points table as their nightmarish season keeps getting worse just one win from eight matches.

The playoff scenario
RR, KKR, SRH and CSK are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
