Harmanpreet Kaur will bat at No. 3 for the T20 World Cup. This decision was confirmed by the head coach, Amol Muzumdar, in a pre-match press conference. Harmanpreet played both warmup matches in this position, despite not scoring significantly. The decision to bat her at No. 3 was made before the team departed for Dubai.
