On Thursday, India registered a 13-0 victory in their third group stage match against Thailand. In their first two matches, India beat Malaysia 5-0 and edged out South Korea 3-2. China are also on 9 points, the same as India, but are currently placed at the top spot on goal difference, thanks mainly to a 15-0 win against Thailand earlier in the tournament. China are currently the reigning Olympic Games silver medallists after their sensational run in Paris earlier this year, although the squad in Bihar is a much-changed one.
