India vs China Final Live Score, Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Live Score Defending champions India will lock horns with China in the final of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy at Rajgir in Bihar on Wednesday. The hosts have been the only team in the tournament who are yet to be beaten.
So far in the tournament, India have won all their Group stage games and then edged past Japan with a hard-fought 2-0 win in the semifinals on Tuesday. On the other hand, China too has a good track record, having only lost against India in the group stage. China, who bagged a silver at the Paris Olympics in 2024, are the highest-ranked side in the tournament. However, they have brought a much-changed squad to India compared to the one that made a fairy tale run to the final at the Olympics. China has won four out of their five pool games and then they beat Malaysia 3-1 in their semifinal clash.
India’s semifinal win wasn’t easy as Japan’s goalkeeper Yu Kudo produced a heroic performance between the posts to keep Salima Tete’s side goalless for more than three quarters of the match. But Navneet Kaur and Lalremsiami scored late goals in the final quarter to prevail 2-0, to make it back-to-back finals at this event.
