India vs Australia Live Score, 1st Test Day 2: Get IND vs AUS Live Updates from Optus Stadium, Perth
India vs Australia Live Cricket Score, 1st Test Day 2: After one of the most exciting days of Test cricket where 17 wickets fell on Day 1, both India and Australia will look to make amends for their shaky batting performances on Day 2.
After skittling out India for just 150 runs, Australia thought they had eked out an advantage but a fiery spell from India skipper Jasprit Bumrah, who snapped up 4 wickets including the scalps of Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney and Pat Cummins, left tottering at 67/7.
After opting to bat first, the Indian batters wilted in front of the Australian pace attack with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli back in the hut with the score at 32 for 3. KL Rahul was putting on a resistance before he was controversially given out before Rishabh Pant and debutant Nitish Reddy dragged the visitors to 150.

Captain Jasprit Bumrah’s message from Perth: This is not a one-sided series

The hero of the day was undoubtedly Jasprit Bumrah, who delivered a fiery spell that left Australian batsmen bewildered. His incisive bowling, coupled with the impressive performances of Harshit Rana and Mohammed Siraj, dismantled the Australian batting lineup.
The Indian bowlers’ dominance raised questions about the effectiveness of the Australian batsmen, particularly their struggles against quality pace bowling. The Optus Stadium, known for its lively pitch, provided the perfect platform for the Indian bowlers to exploit the weaknesses of the Australian batting. As the series progresses, it will be interesting to see if India can maintain this momentum and take a significant lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. (READ MORE)
