India vs Australia 1st Test Day 4 Live Cricket Score, IND vs AUS Test Live Score Today: After a dismal batting performance in the 1st innings, Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal made amends in the second as they scored centuries to bring India on the verge of a famous win in the 1st Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at Perth.
With Kohli breaking through his lean patch with his 81st century – 30th in Tests – and Jaiswal roaring back into form after a couple of low scores in his last couple of innings, India looked to roar back into form against the hapless Australia bowlers with only Nathan Lyon able to get 2 wickets in this innings.
With a massive 534 runs to win, the wheels are already looking to come off the hosts’ attempt at a chase when India skipper Jasprit Bumnrah snapping up Nathan McSweeney for 0 and Marnus Labuschagne for 3 with Mohammed Siraj accounting for Pat Cummins (2) as Australia head into Day 4, reeling at 12/3.

India continued their dominance on the third day of the first Test against Australia, leaving the hosts with a daunting task. After a stunning batting performance from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli, India declared their innings at 571/7, setting a target of 522 runs for Australia.
Youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal played a sensational knock of 161 runs, showcasing his immense talent and maturity. Virat Kohli, in typical fashion, scored a brilliant century, reminding everyone of his class and experience. The duo’s partnership was a masterclass in batting, putting the Australian bowlers under immense pressure. Australia’s batting woes continued, with their top order failing to deliver. The Indian bowlers, led by Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, exploited the conditions and picked up wickets regularly. The hosts will need a miracle to chase down the target and avoid a heavy defeat.
With India firmly in control, the focus now shifts to the final two days of the Test. Australia will need to bat with immense patience and discipline to salvage a draw.
