India vs South Africa, Ind vs SA 2nd T20 Predicted Playing 11 Today Match: After a convincing win in the first match, the Suryakumar Yadav-led India will be looking to secure an unassailable 2-0 lead against South Africa at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Sunday.
South Africa is set to make a couple of changes, but it will be interesting to see whether India will play an extra pacer on a surface that is more conducive to seamers.
Ramandeep Singh in for Ravi Bishnoi
India might hand a debut to all-rounder Ramandeep Singh. With Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel already in the playing XI, India is likely to opt for an extra seam option. In that case, Ravi Bishnoi, who performed well in the opening fixture, might have to make way.
The 27-year-old seam-bowling all-rounder, known for his six-hitting prowess, will provide India with more depth in the bowling department and add extra strength down the order, especially since Arshdeep Singh batted at No. 8 in the first match.
The Punjab all-rounder, retained by Kolkata Knight Riders, is known for his finishing skills. In the 2024 IPL season, he scored 125 runs off just 62 balls across 13 outings, achieving a strike rate of 201.61.
Reeza Hendricks for Patrick Kruger
Reeza Hendricks missed the opening T20I due to illness, but if fit and available for selection, he is likely to slot back in at the top of the order.
Ottneil Baartman for Nqabayomzi Peter
Nqabayomzi Peter, who struggled against the Indian batters in the first match, is likely to be replaced by Ottneil Baartman.
