My weight loss journey will cost you nothing
I was wearing size 36 jeans a few years back. One day I realised my physical growth is progressing at a faster pace and that’s when I decided to bring it to a halt.

I took my morning routine seriously
Earlier I was a late riser. I used to sleep till late and just wake up and rush to the office. But, I took charge of my morning routine.

I start the day early
I wake up at 6am. My day began with a glass of normal water. This helped me feel energized suddenly.

This is my magic mantra
20-30 minutes after drinking water, I have a glass of warm water with a pinch of turmeric and black pepper. This drink works like magic.

On alternate days I have this
On days when I don’t feel like having turmeric water, I have a cup of black coffee (especially on winter mornings).

I do few stretches
I had chronic constipation, so I remained bloated most of the time. A few stretches like butterfly pose helps me empty bowels in the morning.

My breakfast is the heaviest meal of the day
I have two boiled eggs, roti, sabji or a besan chilla with a cup of regular tea and some dry fruits for breakfast.

I started having early lunches
Having early lunches, around 12 noon, prevents me from overeating and post lunch sluggishness

I snack once or twice a day
Since I eat early, my snacking courses have increased. I mostly consume whatever is available easily (though the options are not always healthy).

Dinner is the best meal of my day
Though not a heavy meal, I enjoy a desi meal for dinner, which mostly comprises khichdi with stir fried vegetables. I have my dinner by 8pm.
