Homemade Biore Strips | DIY Skin Care
If you have smooth and flawless skin, good for you! Not everyone is blessed with good skin. But I’m sure, you still experience breakouts every once in a while.
Skincare is very important, especially for people like me. Sadly, I have oily skin and without proper maintenance, I tend to get pimples and blemishes. That’s why I always try to keep my face clean and my pores unclogged. I love using biore strips but for someone who has to use it on a regular basis, it can be a bit costly. That’s why I searched for a cheaper solution. There must be a DIY skin care I can do for my skin. Then I found this DIY pore strip that works. It’s so simple it just needs two ingredients. So let’s get to it!
Homemade biore strips tried by millions from Michelle Phan:
Ingredients and materials for your DIY pore strips:
- 1 tbsp. unflavored jello or gelatine
- 1 tbsp. milk
- small microwavable container
- foundation or makeup brush
Step 1
Put one tablespoon of milk and one tablespoon of jello in your container.
Step 2
Mix them well. You should have a chunky mixture like the picture above.
Step 3
Microwave it for 10 seconds.
Step 4
Take it out of the microwave and let it cool. Test on your hand first before applying it to your face. I’m sure you don’t want to get burned.
Step 5
Using your foundation or makeup brush, apply it to your nose or your entire face. Now all we have to do is wait about 10 minutes or until it’s completely dry to see the magic!
Step 6
Once it’s dry, start peeling it off!
And that’s it! Can you see all the oil and dirt that came from your face? It’s so great that there’s a cheap and easy way that you can remove all of those things.
So what are you waiting for, start raiding your fridge for these two ingredients. In case you don’t have any jello or gelatine at home, drop by your nearest convenience store and buy a packet.
You can do this pore strip mask twice a week and after you’ve peeled it off, use a good serum or follow it with your skincare regimen. Your pores will be able to absorb it better now that all the dirt and oil are gone.
Share it with your girl friends or have it on a sleep over! It’s a great beauty recipe to add to your DIY spa night on a weekend or whenever you feel that your face needs a good cleaning. A clear and blemish-free skin is just a peel away!
