And well, over the past few years, her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan too has grabbed attention. Aaradhya has been accompanying mother to Cannes since she was a little. Her cute pictures have grabbed the attention of all. Even in interviews, Aishwarya has spoken about how Aaradhya’s presence at Cannes has been fun for her. She once also revealed that her daughter helps her prep for the red carpet. In an Associated Press interview back in 2016, Aishwarya Rai spoke about Aaradhya and said that it is all like dress up game for her. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil diva was quoted saying, “For her (Aaradhya) it’s more like playing dress up and appreciating colors. So yeah, it meets her approval quite often. It’s fun, it’s a laugh.” She also spoke about the changes that she has seen at the film festival over the years. She mentioned that the world has changed quickly and there is social media that has gone through the ‘stratosphere’. She added the world is much smaller now and there’s awareness of cinema across the globe. At Cannes 2024, it is expected that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will once again make her presence felt. It is not quite clear whether Aaradhya Bachchan will be a part of it or not. She is been a regular but it hasn’t been confirmed yet whether she will be joining Aishwarya at Cannes 2024 or not.

As per the latest reports, Cannes 2024 will be special this year as India will be hosting Bharat Parv. Payal Kapadia’s film All We Imagine As Light will also be competing to win the Palme d’or, the prestigious award, at the 77th Cannes Film Festival that will begin on May 14 and go on till May 25, 2024. We are expecting a few Indian celebrities to walk the red carpet.
