According to recent reports in Cinetrak, Tamannaah Bhatia‘s south film Aranmanai 4 on the fourth day itself is inching towards the 30 crore mark, as the film has already collected 29 crore worldwide. Not only that but among the recent Tamil releases, it’s also the fastest Tamil film to cross the 25 crore mark. For comparison, the total box office collection of Rajinikanth‘s Lal Salaam on the fourth day itself was 15.1 crore. With Aranmanai 4 already collecting 29 crore, it won’t be wrong to say that Tamannaah Bhatia’s film is here to surpass many records. Prior to Aranmanai 4, Dhanush’s Captain Miller gave much-needed relief to the Tamil Box Office as on the fourth day, the film collected a whopping amount of 41 crore. Needless to say, after Captain Miller, if any film has the potential to end the dry spell at the Tamil Box Office, it’s definitely Aranmanai 4.

Off late, Tamil films have not been able to perform well at the box office. Movies like Hansika Motwani-starrer Guardian and Keerthy Suresh’s Siren have failed to perform at the box office.
