Anupamaa: Sukirti Kandpal aka Shruti confirms her exit from the Rupali Ganguly-Gaurav Khanna starrer; says ‘According to me…’

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is the top TV show right now. The show has got some amazing TRP and is being loved. In the recent episodes, we saw so much of drama in Anupamaa’s life. She had been through a lot in America after the cockroach incident and when she came to India for Titu and Dimpy’s wedding, many things got solved. Mr Gulati and Rahul were the ones who added cockroaches to Anu’s biryani so that she is defamed and Spice and Chutney is shut down. Shruti also added fuel to fire by asking food critic Ms Smith to complaint about the restaurant and Anu in food department. Anuj gets angry on Shruti for this kind of behaviour but Shruti defends herself saying that she only did it because she was jealous of Anu. She said she wanted Anu and Anuj to be away and hence she did these things. Shruti also said that she aware that Anu still loves Anuj and vice verse. However, Anuj breaks his engagement with Shruti as he cannot see anyone troubling his Anu. Sukirti Kandpal quits Anupamaa

Shruti pleads him to give her once chance and even Aadhya does so but he ignores. He goes to Anu to confess his love for her while Anu keeps telling him not to leave Shruti as she has done a lot for them. But Anuj has made his decision. However, in the recent episode, we saw Shruti leaving for America and also sets Anuj free.

This made everyone feel that Sukirti Kandpal aka Shruti is now leaving the show. Yes, she is indeed quitting. But the character of Shrut has been left open ended which means we can see her returning. Sukirti Kandpal spoke to Pinkvilla about her track ending in the show.

She said that the current track of the show is basically a mix of all the emotions of love, jealousy, insecurity, and how it all plays out and she finds it beautiful as it shows how everyone is a human at the end. She calls the track humanising one.

She further said that as of now according to her Shruti’s track has concluded in Rajan Shahi‘s Anupamaa. She also spoke about her bond with her costars. She shared that everyone is welcoming and they do not make anyone feel uncomfortable. She had a good time working with them.
