The episode of Anupamaa begins with the Akshay Tritiya ceremony. Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) asks Shruti to perform the pooja. However, Shruti struggles to apply tikka on the god’s frame. Aadhya suggests Anu (Rupali Ganguly) perform the pooja instead. Shruti faces a dilemma as she feels that not only Anuj but even Aadhya is getting closer to Anu. She decides it’s high time she marries Anuj and asks Adhya to convince Anuj to at least fix the wedding date. Aadhya also urges Anuj to set the wedding date, Shruti emphasizes that as he is already going to India for Dimpy and Titu’s marriage they could get married there too.
