The story of Anupamaa has touched hearts and everyone loves the simple life of a housewife and her struggles. The show connected with a lot of audience and especially with women. It began during the COVID-19 pandemic and has become the best TV show. Rushad Rana was a part of the show earlier. He was seen opposite Madalsa Sharma in the show. He played the role of Anirudh who was Kavya’s ex-husband. Rushad is not a part of the show now and he has now opened up about his role. Rushad Rana reveals Anupamaa revived his career
He spoke to TellyChakkar and said that he bagged the role through an audition and said that despite his character having some gray areas, it was loved by people. His fans still ask him when he would be back on the show. Rushad hopes the makers call him back soon. He shared that Anupamaa is a special show for him and it brought him back to limelight. He shared that before COVID, he was continuously working, but nothing exciting happened. He was just doing cameos and episodic roles to survive. He said that after COVID happened, nobody knew what would happen to the industry but things started opening up soon. He shared that Anupamaa revived his career and it’s special because that’s where Rushad met his wife, Ketki. He further showered praises on producer Rajan Shahi. He said that he had an amazing experience and he is one of the finest producers we have in the industry. Rushad further shared that he still considers himself a part of the show, even though he is not shooting for it anymore.
