In an interview posted on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Kohli was asked by Mr Nags aka Danish Sait about his kids and whether they have any interest in cricket.
“My daughter has picked up a bat and she has really started to enjoy the swing. But I am not sure. It’s their choice at the end of the day,” said Kohli.

Kohli on Sunil Chhetri’s retirement
On Thursday, Virat Kohli was one of the first to comment on Sunil Chhetri’s Instagram post where he has called time on his football career for the Indian national team. The Indian football legend said that the match against Kuwait will be his last game in the national colours. Sunil Chhetri made the announcement in a video he posted on his social media handles.
Sunil Chhetri said that the game against Kuwait — which is part of the second round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers — will be his last game. The match will be played at the Salt Lake Stadium on June 6. India are currently second in Group A with four points, behind Qatar.
Virat Kohli commented on the Chhetri’s Instagram video. He posted a comment, saying, “My Brother, PROUD.”
In the interview posted by the RCB, Kohli also opened up how the Indian football legend messaged him and informed him about his decision.
“He actually messaged me as well, informing me that he is going to do it,” said Kohli.
“But I would say that it felt like he is at peace with the decision.
“Over the years, I have become really close with him. I wish him nothing but the best. He is a lovely lovely guy.”
