Wall sits
Wall sits are perfect for toning your thighs, glutes, and calves while also working your core. Though it may look simple, this static exercise challenges your muscles and boosts fat burning.
How to do it:
- Stand with your back against a wall and your feet a few inches away from it.
- Slide down the wall until your knees are at a 90-degree angle as if sitting on an invisible chair.
- Hold the position for 20–30 seconds (or longer if you can).
- Repeat for 3–4 rounds.
Wall sits are a low-impact but powerful way to engage multiple muscle groups and rev up your metabolism.
Step-ups
If you have a sturdy chair or a step at home, step-ups are a great indoor exercise. They mimic climbing stairs, which is excellent for fat loss and toning your legs and glutes.
How to do it:
- Stand in front of a step or chair.

- Do this for 2–3 minutes per round, with 30-second breaks in between rounds.
