Ruffled blog features a section completely dedicated to making DIY wedding gifts, favors, napkins and centerpieces. We just adore their aesthetic. Ruffled also features separate sections for vendor ideas, recycled wedding decorations , and flower guides. Definitely give them a peek and see if it’s what you’re looking for! We’re sure you will find something you’ll fall in love with.

2. Style Me Pretty
Have you marveled at the wonders of Style Me Pretty’s wedding and bridals section? If you’re a hopeless romantic and you’ve dreamed of your wedding day since you were a little girl then you’ll love this blog. Her elegance and style just takes the cake (pun intended). We especially love her section of DIY wedding decor and wedding cakes. She does everything so perfectly! It will put you in the mood to be wed, we promise.

3. Once Wed
Once Wed is one of the best wedding blogs for ideas on recipes, used wedding gowns, hair + makeup and more. Her navigation on her website allows you to search by the type of wedding you’re trying to create whether it’s rustic or vintage – you’ll find what you’re looking for. One of my favorite wedding pages to browse is her vintage wedding section. Most recently, she did a post on a rustic french wedding in the South of France. Swoon. Her taste and photography makes the experience all the more beautiful while perusing her site. Definitely take a peek and hang around, baby.

4. A Practical Wedding
A practical wedding is a DIY wedding website where you can check out all of these amazing ideas and design on a dime. This website is a godsend for the thrifty shopper. You don’t have to be terribly crafty to fashion these brilliant ideas. All you really need are a few simple crafting tools and voila! Her DIY crafts section is probably one of the most creative and inspiring DIY endeavors we’ve seen yet!
Check out these amazing feather centerpieces. They do not look very time consuming and can probably be made in a few hours.
Her website is also fantastic and definitely takes the number one spot for amazing food + drink section. Check out a few of these cool recipes!
PITCHER COCKTAILS: THE GRAPEFRUIT SIDECAR
She also has an entire section on DIY beauty. Woo! We love it. We can’t wait to see more posts by this lovely blogger and feature her in our upcoming bridal posts. Thanks for a little inspiration.
5. 100 Layer Cake
This wedding blog will have your head spinning with creative and mind bending ideas. 100 Layer Cake is bursting with cocktail recipes, bridal shower ideas, hairstyles, portraits and more! You can’t go wrong with this simple and lovely DIY blog. We discovered 100 layer cake while looking around at different wedding blogs. What sets this one apart from the next? It has a lovely color stories section. You can simply choose a color theme for your wedding and you will be transported to a world in living color. Good luck and have tons of fun on this site full of adventure.

6. Intimate Weddings
Intimate Weddings is an adorable website that allows you to choose from a number of DIY projects for weddings from decor to food + drink. Her ideas are super affordable and very easy to make. Mason Jars and a little glue and you can make a ton of her awesome projects. Her website makes us wish we had tons of hands! DIY Projects will definitely be featuring her how-to’s in many more upcoming posts. Kudos for making such lovely craft tutorials.
Check out some of her place card/ seat holders. These rustic birds are such a good idea! All you need is a little clay and some time and you can make a ton of these for a few dollars!
We also love the idea of using blueberry sauce as a wedding gift idea. She put blueberry jam in a mason jar and make it look so cute. Check out how she made it here. The idea of using a flip top jar is ideal because it will keep the jam nice and fresh. We love re-purposing old mason jars!
7. My DIY Wedding Day
My DIY wedding day is a DIY website for the creative and crafty bride to be. She has featured tons of cool cocktails, favors, flowers, and decor. Her DIY Wedding Thank-You Cards are just beautiful. You can see how she made them here. We love the way her blog flows creatively from one project to the next. Wedding addicts beware, you will find yourself stuck on this site for quite awhile.

8. Green Wedding Shoes
So we’ve been doing a little creative stalking with this website. We can honestly say the roundup of crafts projects available on Green Wedding Shoes is just amazing. From picking out your veil to picking out the perfect place settings, you won’t be let down with the amount of lovely craft ideas. Green Wedding Shoes topped the list of 100 must peep wedding blogs of the year – and we couldn’t agree more. We love the way the websites user friendly layout.

If you’re looking for a way to spice up your alternative wedding, check out some of these great photo’s where you can nab a little inspiration for the next themed party you throw! Some of these ideas are just too good not to steal. Be careful, another site that will keep you up late dreaming up ideas. Rock on!
10. The Knotty Bride
Last, but certainly not least, we have The Knotty Bride. We absolutely adore her DIY on a budget section where you can make lovely light up letters for your wedding! We love her post on 3 Essential Bridal Party Activities! Thanks for all the helpful tips and tricks. Wedding blogs can be pretty tricky to keep up to speed with all the competition, but this lovely blog keeps it simple and makes it easy to find just what you’re looking for.
